Chelsea squad members resumed training on Friday morning less than 24 hours after former manager Antonio Conte was sacked by the Premier League side.
According to a UK daily Mail report, the players were informed about the Italian exit from the club eggheads before commencing the day’s training session at the Blues’ Cobham base.
Eddie Newton took charge of the proceedings, as players circled around him a brief talk before commencing training.
