A Nigerian man named Oluyemi Fasipe has urged the Super Eagles of Nigeria not to honor their game against Argentina at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The aggrieved man directed his message to the captain of the Super Eagles John Obi Mikel to mobilize his teammates at the national team not to face Argentina today, June 26.

Oluyemi Fasipe wants the Super Eagles to boycott the game against Argentina for them to protest the killings in Nigeria.

Fasipe who expressed his grievances on social media believes the World Cup is nothing to Nigerians compared to the lives lost daily in the country.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles of Nigeria must avoid defeat against Argentina on Tuesday night for them to qualify for the next round at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported the venue, time, lineups, head-to-head between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Argentina ahead of their tough battle on Tuesday night in Russia.

Argentina have never previously gone through a first-round World Cup group stage without at least one victory before. Korea/Japan 2002 was the last time they crashed out of the group stages at the World Cup with their only victory in the tournament coming against Nigeria.
