Davido sends out condolence message to Dbanj as he gives acceptance speech at 2018 BET Awards

  • Popular Nigerian pop star Davido has achieved an amazing victory. The singer was awarded the best international act award at the recently concluded BET Awards that took place in the United States.

    While giving his acceptance speech, the singer took the opportunity to send his condolence to another Nigerian pop star, Dapo Oyebanjo popularly known as Dbanj, who recently lost his one-year-old son.

    According to reports, Dbanj’s son Daniel Oyebanjo III had drowned at the singer’s residence on Sunday, June 24. It was reported that he has been moved to a morgue in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos state.

    Davido won the best international act award at the BET Award which also took place on Sunday, June 24.

    In his speech, Davido expressed that Dbanj is the artiste that pave the way for other Nigerian artistes to been known globally. He also urged people to visit the African continent and come enjoy the culture and food.
